I soon found out that there are more books. I just need to forget about the stupid one only available on Kindle since I don't have one of those uber expensive things. So unless it starts raining money I'm pretty sure one of those things isn't in my future. I am not sure I'd even want one even if money wasn't an issue.
She's eating again.
Anyhoo this is the seventh book in the series if you consider Wizard's First Rule as the first book. I hate it when a series ends up having a prequel after a bunch of the books in the series is out since that leads to confusion on what to read first. I did see that someone suggested that you read the first eleven books first in the order they came out before jumping into the prequels.
I'm not sure how many times I've read this series. When I'm reading a series I always go back to the first book when a new book comes out. I'm pretty sure I started reading the next book in this series but for some reason that I can't recall I never got around to finishing it. This time I'm determined to do that. Since I don't want to have another repeat of the booger incident this series is one that I'm reading in bed since the books are mine.
This book is Richard and Kahlan light. The focus is on his half siblings Oba and Jennsen. I guess with a name like Oba you're bound to turn out evil. Jennsen and her mother have been hiding away for years because Darken Rahl was hellbent on killing all of his children that weren't gifted. Anyone care to vote him best dad ever? She ends up meeting Sebastian and ends up going on a journey with the intention to kill Richard as her main goal. Sebastian is working for Jagang who is a total asshole. I'm so bummed that Legend Of The Seeker was cancelled so quickly since Jeremy Roberts would have made an awesome Jagang. Oba and Jennsen are both hearing a voice that tells them to surrender. Will they surrender? Does anyone die? Well you'll just have to read the book to find out but of course I suggest you go back to the first book in the series Wizard's Rule.
Now this isn't a book for those who want something light and fluffy. This book is pretty big. It is also part of a series that has about fifteen or possibly sixteen books so this is for people who love to read. It is a good series that mainly focuses on Richard and Kahlan. They show up in this book but not until much later in the book. I think I'll go back to that Legend Of The Seeker marathon that could result in some fan fiction that will go unread much like this post will. Oh well it's not like I can force someone to read something that they aren't interested in. Until next time read on.
