This is a historical fiction about a librarian named Lydia who is engaged and works in a library. She takes care of her mother because they had to downsize after her father died. She becomes intrigued with a guy that comes to the library quite often. Things go south with the finacee and soon love is in the air.
I really enjoyed this book and plan to go back to read the first two books which I wasn't able to read before this one. There's a romance but it isn't the only thing going on because there's a killer on the loose. I have to admit that I would have liked it if the killings were more present in the book instead of only being briefly mentioned at the start of each chapter in a little snippet that's taken from a newspaper article. I found Lydia to be really easy to relate to.
Litfuse Publicity Group: I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for a review. Thanks so much for introducing me to another author for me to enjoy. This might be the first book I've read by Shelley but it won't be the last.
