Viking in Wonderland
Magnus Ericsson is a simple man.He loves the smell of fresh-turned dirt after springtime plowing. He loves the feel of a soft woman under him in the bed furs. He loves the heft of a good sword in his fighting arm.
But, Holy Thor, what he does not relish is the bothersome brood of children he's been saddled with.Or the mysterious happenstance that strands him in a strange new land--the kingdom of Holly Wood. Here is a place where the folks think he is an act-whore (whatever that is), and the woman of his dreams - a winemaker of all things - fails to accept that he is her soul mate, a man of exceptional talents, not to mention . . . a very virile viking
Oh yes this is the kind of book that people would probably rather read on an ereader or your phone. Can you imagine if someone caught you reading this? I am going to go out on a limb here and say that this is Magnus showing off his perky nipples and his blade. I hope he remembered to put on sunscreen since burns are a real bitch. I should know since I would burst into flames within minutes if I didn't sunscreen up whenever I step outside. I guess according to him I'd be a read-whore which I totally accept since it is true. If I am able to get it I might do a review of it just for the hell of it even though I don't usually do reviews of library books. Since I tend to read more than one book at a time it isn't unusual for me to finish two books in the same day.
I guess the virile viking doesn't saddle up when he's in the saddle. The more I think about it the more I think I will see about getting my hands on this book because it sounds hilarious. I don't think it was intended that way but it is how I'm taking it. Come on look at that cover? Why isn't he wearing a shirt? Why isn't he wearing a loincloth? It sounds like he travels to the future or another reality. I walked around with a Fifty Shades parody book that had a cover that was nearly identical to the real books. If you aren't too observant you might actually mistake it for the real book. I walked around with that. Or I could just read this inside where no one can see it. Who knows what will happen. I guess it depends on whether or not I can find it at the library and can actually read it.
