It might just be me but the start of the book didn't really seem like the start of the book. It seemed like it was a little further in than the start so for me it started off a little strange. I read the whole book but I was kinda meh about it. This is the first book in a series and I have to admit that I'm undecided on whether or not I would even want to continue since there are so many other series out there waiting for me to read them since I'm literally up to my ears in series because I can't find stand alones which would be a nice change every so often.
Even though I was able to read the book with no problem I didn't really feel all that connected to any of the characters. I suppose part of that could have been a headache. Oh the fun of those unwanted visitors swooping in uninvited. There are teams that go on missions all over the world to help out humans and sometimes a human qualifies to become one. The idea is an interesting one but not really something I'm all that interested in. This concludes what is likely a confusing review.
