Every time I discover a book it is part of a series. I'm serious. Luckily the library had this book so off I read. A stand alone for me is like finding a diamond ring in the parking lot at the mall. Pretty much every author I enjoy has one or more series and for many the series are still in progress.
I don't know if I'm just really dumb but all the names just confuse the hell out of me. I was scratching my head when the library said speculative fiction. I believe this book would fall into the category of contemporary. I just read regardless of what people are calling it if it sounds interesting. The whole revenge thing is what made me decide to pick up this book. I don't even want to get started on how confusing Tradesmart is. I'm glad to have a bookstore near me but the layout just sucks.
I plan to read the next book soon because I prefer to read things together if possible hence me rereading books whenever a new book in a series comes out which means I never finish series. Okay that's not totally true since I have read entire series and that includes this year. So the verdict is in on whether or not I'll read another Jenny Han book. All signs point to yes. As long as I'm able to find them at the library I'm five by five. I read this after reading my second Colleen Hoover book. I'm counting the I think novella as a book since it is a book even though it is shorter than the typical book. How long is a typical book supposed to be?
The name Jar Island kinda makes me think of a place where they put things in jars like peanut butter and jelly. Three girls team up to get revenge on people. It is pretty clever of these girls to act like they have nothing to do with with each other. They secretly plan to take down people and each participate in the pranks so they'll all keep their mouths shut. Maybe it will be explained in the next book but I am a little curious about something that happened. I'm not sure if it was what I'm thinking or if it is just made to look like what I'm thinking. The ending does make you want to go and pick up the next book so you find out what happens next.
