On the reading challenge front I'm scooting along pretty nicely. I finished a series. Yep I am done with Pretty Little Liars. I also finished a book I had started before. That would be Naked Empire by Terry Goodkind. I also read a new to me author which would be Veronica Roth although I have read other new to me authors this year like Jennifer Armentrout. Yep I'm the oddball that was only familiar with the other Jennifer Armintrout. I still need to finish the Blood Ties series.
Right now I am listening to an audio book but I'm not sure if I like it or not. I do like the book and have the other two in this trilogy on hold at the library. I'm just not sure I like the whole listening to a book thing. Since I didn't sleep too well on Tuesday night I was a bit spacey when I listened to it for a bit. There's no real way to figure out where I left off. So I did put the book on hold so I can read it but I might give it another go. I have no idea how long it is since there's no menu telling me anything. It does tell me what chapter I'm on and how much longer there is in that chapter but nothing about how long the entire book is.
I'm still neck deep in series since I can't seem to escape them. I am excited about a book I won. I'm not sure if that is part of a series or not. I'm just thrilled to be getting a free book. I'm probably an oddball since I don't have a strict list of what I'm planning to read. I do think I will get around to reading Cinder in February. I keep hearing about it and I did start it and did like what I read. Hopefully I can avoid series that are too long. Trilogies are okay since that isn't too overwhelming. I just can't escape the damn series. I will be reading Amber Benson's newest book this month too.
So what are your reading plans for February? Is anyone out there? Does anyone have any stand alone suggestions?
