I have to say that I'm surprised that this guy isn't shirtless on the cover. I did like the writing but there are a few scenes that make me roll my eyes. Personally I think the office scene could have been cut or changed because it was a bit ridiculous for a woman that just met her client to do something like that. It was also a bit odd that Jarod would do the same thing that caused him to need a PR person in the first place right after hiring Vivian.
The title is very fitting for this book. I'm sure that there is the potential for people to stop reading during that office scene. I kept reading because I did enjoy the story even though I kind of rolled my eyes at that scene because it didn't really make sense. It just didn't fit with Vivian's personality or at least it didn't for me. Vivian works for a PR firm so getting the chance to fix up bad boy Jarod Cage's rep after a sex tape went viral is something she's eager to jump into because she dreams of being able to transfer to New York.
Vivian and Jarod are an odd pairing but they do say that opposites attract. She's thrown into a world that she knows nothing about and ends up falling for Jarod. I'm not really sure how I feel about them as a couple. I am glad that the sex scenes didn't go on and on like they do in some books. I didn't really like Jarod that much. He seemed a bit weak even though he was a bit of a bad boy. You wonder why he lets his ex walk all over him until it gets explained. When he finds out something later on it is a bit of a letdown. This just wasn't really my cup of tea but I did like the story aside from a few things here and there.
