I did enjoy this book but I have to confess that I'm not really a fan of having things start off with a later event that later goes back to what was going on before the event. In this case it wasn't a major jump so it was easily dealt with. I can't seem to escape that since shows do that all the time and books sometimes do it to and it is all in the way they do it.
This is a historical fiction about a woman named India Hartley. She's an actress who has quite a time when the play she's performing goes very wrong. She's accused of murder and she goes to live with a lawyer that is trying to clear her name. If you're a fan of historical fiction you will very likely devour this book. I really enjoy Dorothy's writing style and plan on checking out other books by her.
Litfuse Publicity Group: I was sent a copy of this book to read and review. Thank you.
