I was kindly sent a copy of this book.
The idea of this book is pretty interesting since a lot of horrible things have been done in the name of religion. In this world religion has been banned but those who refuse to give it up are taken to camps. The religious types are kept together where they pretty much live normal lives except they're trapped in the camp. Grant and a group decide to escape one day and see if they can find a place to join other people who believe the same way they do.
When it comes to this type of book I'm kind of hit and miss. I didn't hate this book but I wasn't too crazy about it either. Soon it becomes evident that things aren't quite as they appear. The idea was interesting but the story didn't really appeal to me even though I did like the writing style if that makes any sense at all. I guess I would say this isn't my cup of tea since I'm not a tea drinker.
I've always loved reading books so it was inevitable that I'd end up writing about books again. Over the years with the many blogs I have had I would end up talking about books. Thanks to a bit of frustration and a case of the writing blahs I decided to dive in again.
