I would have jumped into the second book right away if I didn't have to go to the grocery store for food. It turns out that the whole delivery of groceries thing is total BS because you aren't necessarily going to get it on the day you ordered and you have to spend fifty bucks to get it delivered. Shit I usually don't spend that much in a week unless I'm loading up on soda.
I will be starting the next book in this series today since I just have to know what happens next. So I continue to be a magnet to series. There are a lot of great series out there but it would be nice to run into a stand alone once in a while. How do those people do it that claim to rarely or never read series? I'm impressed by that ability that I sorely lack. At least I know how to read walk which seems to impress people. It isn't that impressive really. I've been doing it for years but weirdly I'm less clumsy while doing it. I can't explain that.
I love the purple in this cover. I wish I had violet eyes instead of boring blue ones. I wonder if they would be less sensitive to sunlight. Anyhoo Amelia lives a sheltered life until she decides to go to college and get away from her crazy dad. On top of the crazy she has powers that she's trying to learn to control. She's trying to live her life with her first best friend and a guy but she has a destiny that is getting in the way of that. Don't you just hate when that happens? I want to know what happens next since it did end on a cliff hanger. It would totally suck to be betrothed to the son of an evil queen.
