I started reading this book and was confused pretty much from the start. It started off in a strange way which isn't necessarily a bad thing. A girl was at an appointment with a shrink. It seemed like she was lying for some reason. It was pretty vague but in all likelihood the blanks will be filled in as you read more of the book. It next jumped to a guy that was an insurance adjuster who was seeing a client. He encountered a strange girl who I think might have been the same person that was seeing the shrink.
It was at this point that I wondered what I was reading. It just didn't make sense to me and honestly I didn't feel like reading more since it just wasn't working for me. It wasn't the writing. It was more in the way the story was told if that makes any sense. It just felt choppy to me I guess. I think it would have worked better for me if it picked up with the same character that was in the prologue instead of this random meeting between two people who end up flirting and end up with a phone number exchanged. The thought of reading more of this book just didn't appeal to me at all.
