This is a YA book but if you aren't a horror fan this wouldn't be the book for you. I had heard about it and didn't know it was a horror book. A girl Sofia moves to a new town because her mom works for the armed forces. She finds something disturbing under the bleachers and meets a girl named Riley.
If you're prone to paranoia and you're in high school proceed with caution since this book gets very scary. It certainly makes you go WTF and I don't even use text speak. Yes I know what that means. I'm not a total moron. There is an interesting twist at the end that some may figure out but some might not.
This book certainly has some messed up people in it. I'm not sure how I feel about this being a series since I was just thrilled to be reading what I thought was a stand alone book. This book gets pretty gory so you've been warned. The Fear Street books are pretty tame compared to this since they don't really go into graphic detail. This book does. I did like it and will probably read the next book when it comes out. It does make you think about people and how they can look pretty on the outside and be ugly on the inside. Of course in this book they are just plain evil. Until next time my friends read on.
