This book picks up from where the last one left off. Joe is now dating Amy. I have to admit that I was amused when something happened because it was very ironic and fitting. Of course things don't work out and Joe ends up moving to California. He's on a mission but he doesn't seem to like La La land. I grew up in California and I pretty much walked everywhere so we do exist.
This book is even more disturbing than the first one. I did find it entertaining that this guy sees the insanity in other people but has no clue just how totally off the charts nuts he is. He is looking for payback and I did enjoy the book but it just got to be too much for me after that part where he takes a dump in this chick's apartment and she texts him because she's glad to have his smell in her bathroom.
I put this book down after that. Right now I'm not feeling all that great so I really don't want to pick up this book and continue reading. I might pick it up at another time but just not now since I'm not in the mood. I do like her writing but I'm thinking this book just might not be for me. It could just be the mood I'm in because I can be a bit of a mood reader. Sometimes a book won't agree with me at first but later on it absolutely does. It could be one of those times. I really don't know but right now I'm going to DNF this book.
