I loved this book. Did I yell at this book? Yes I did. Stepmonster was just horrible and so was that bitch Chloe. This is an adorable modern day Cinderella about a fan girl stuck in a family where she doesn't quite fit but soon she has one awesome best friend. I love Sage. Can I have more about Sage? Did I mention that she's totally awesome?
My favorite character is Sage who also happens to be a lesbian. I just adore her. She's a fun quirky characters marches on to the beat of her own drum. Also she has awesome hair and just thinking about her driving the truck is just hilarious. I really want there to be another book that's about Sage and who she starts dating because I want more of this world especially with this character.
Danielle is stuck living with her stepmonster and her two stepsisters. I'm so dumb that the whole Cinderella thing didn't hit me until today. I never claimed to be smart or quick to pick up on things. She has a blog and just by random chance she starts texting a guy so yes there's some romance. This is such a cute book. I really must read more books by Ashley because I love her writing style and it isn't just anyone that gets me to yell at a book. I tried to tell Danielle to get herself a lawyer to protect herself from the stepmonster but of course she didn't listen because she's fictional. I was easily sucked into this world and enjoyed it from beginning to end. I also cried during this one scene in the bathroom. It wasn't ugly crying but I did get teary and that doesn't happen all the time either since it isn't every day I yell at a book and cry.
