This is the third book in a series and this one focuses on Amelia Kinsinger. I liked this one the most out of the three books since it seemed more real in a way. I haven't read a ton of Amish books but I have read some and they tend to all have similar types of characters. This book went deeper and had characters that dealt with heavier issues like growing up in an abusive household, getting in trouble with the law, leaving the community, and coming back.
This isn't just a cute romance since there's a lot more going on in this short book. Simon is dealing with demons from the past and reconnecting with people from his past while trying to figure things out. Amelia is dealing with her own stuff too. It is a cute romance that isn't as heavy on the romance as some books can be.
